My first introduction to the Gordon Setter was at Moffat House Hotel in the late 1970’s when stopping off for a bite to eat following Moffat Show with the ponies.  I was smitten and in the same year we got Timadon McGregor or ‘Mac’ who was a son of Caerlanrig Adonis and since that day I have never been without. 

We loved ‘Mac’ so much we had him oil painted with Threave Castle in the backround quite fitting as the original Gordon setter originated from Gordon Castle bred by the Duke of Gordon and Richmond.
